Brian Posner
Founder, President and Director
Brian has more than 35 years of experience as a senior corporate executive, advisor to strategic investors and corporates, leading investment professional, and director on public company, private company, and not-for-profit boards.
Brian currently serves as a director of Arch Capital Group (ACGL) where he chairs the Finance, Investment and Risk Committee. He previously served as Chair for both Bioverativ (BIVV) and the AQR Funds, as well as a director of Biogen (BIIB), Sotheby's (BID), and The Mutual Fund Store (a private company), among others.
Previous roles include having served as President and Chief Executive Officer of ClearBridge Advisors, a $100+ billion asset management company. Prior to that, Brian was Managing Member of Hygrove Partners LLC, a value-based equity hedge fund group; Managing Director and co-Chief Investment Officer at Warburg Pincus Asset Management; and Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Fidelity Investments where he ran a nationally renowned and top performing equity mutual fund.
Brian is currently a Charter Trustee at Northwestern University and serves as an advisor to Northwestern's Center for the Study of Diversity and Democracy. He is also an emeritus member of the Board of Visitors at Northwestern's Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences Board where he served as co-Chair.
Recognized as an expert in issues pertaining to corporate strategy, governance, financial analysis and research, Brian is regularly invited to guest lecture at such institutions as Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.
